Thiruvananthapuram in India's cleanest city list, Uttar Pradesh tops in pollution
Pollution is a major problem that affects both humans and all living things on earth. Pollution can destroy even those who are born on earth and those who are about to fall to the earth. It can be said that India is ahead in pollution compared to other countries. Now, a new report says which city in India is leading in pollution. Don't think that Delhi is the one that is under threat of air pollution. It is not Meerut, Bengaluru, Kolkata or Mumbai. That city is Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, the Hindi heartland and a large presence in the political geography of the country.
Delhi is in fourth place, more severe than Delhi, which is struggling with air pollution
The new report has been released by the Center for Research and Energy and Clean Air. The current situation in Ghaziabad is more severe than Delhi, where normal life is difficult due to air pollution. But it is worth mentioning that Delhi is in fourth place. Delhi is surprisingly ranked behind Ghaziabad, Noida and Bahadurgarh in Haryana. Six of the top 10 most polluted cities are from Uttar Pradesh. Three cities are from Haryana. Noida (two), Bahadurgarh (three) and Greater Noida (six) are from Haryana. Ghaziabad, Hapur, Sonipat, Meerut and Rohtak are the top 10 most polluted cities in Uttar Pradesh.
Cities facing the most pollution threat are in Rajasthan
The air quality of these cities in November was above the national average. The PM 2.5, an indicator of air pollution, was 224 micrograms per cubic metre. The air quality in these cities was above the national standards for all 30 days in November. The air quality in Delhi in November was 215 micrograms per cubic metre. This means that it will be double that of October. Rajasthan has set the record for the state with the most polluted cities. It is shocking that 23 out of 34 cities are above the national average. 22 cities in Haryana and 14 in Uttar Pradesh are above the national average.
Kerala's capital city makes it to the list of least polluted cities
