​Dr. Gopakumar Cholayil is a distinguished climate scientist, author, and science communicator specializing in environmental issues, agroclimatology, and sustainable development. He holds a postgraduate degree in Meteorology and a Doctorate in Agroclimatology from the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). ​Formerly associated with the College of Climate Change and Environmental Science at Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), Dr. Gopakumar has dedicated his career to public outreach and education.
