Compared to yesterday, chances of summer rain are less in many places in Kerala today. Only a few areas of Kasaragod, Kannur and Kozhikode districts will receive rain today. The same method will continue in the central and southern districts. But heavy rain is likely in some areas of Thiruvananthapuram Kottayam Ernakulam district.
Also, rain is likely in some coastal parts of Alappuzha Ernakulam Thrissur districts late night and early morning. However, chances of thundershowers will reduce over Kerala, southern coastal areas and southern interior parts of Karnataka. Besides Kolhapur, Goa, Sangli, Ratnagiri, Satara, Pune, Ahmednagar, Aurangabad, Solapur, Latur, Nanded, Hubballi, Belagavi districts and south Odisha are also likely to experience severe thunderstorm. Light rain is likely over Vidarbha, Telangana and North AP.
