Yellow alert in six districts due to heavy rains in North Kerala

Clouds are present in the coastal area of ​​Kollam district to Vadakara this morning. Clouds are clearing today compared to yesterday. Therefore, the coastal areas adjacent to this region and Idanad areas will be generally cloudy today. It will rain in the afternoon. There will be isolated heavy rain. Do not expect continuous rain. The wind is not the most favorable situation at the moment.

Due to the presence of very strong Cyclone Bipar Joy, the monsoon winds reaching the Kerala coast are less strong, but the monsoon winds are continuing up to a height of about three kilometers above the sea level. After that there will be a temporary decrease in rainfall.

Meanwhile, a yellow alert was issued on Sunday in Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Kozhikode, and Wayanad districts.
