Most parts of United Kingdom (UK) will be windy with coastal gales and blustery showers this evening, some heavy and thundery, but much of eastern Britain will be fine. Shetland will see more prolonged rain.That will clear later tonight.
Elsewhere, bands of heavy showers, some thundery, will move eastwards, but much of inland Britain will dry up later.
Northern Ireland and the east of Ireland look like turning mainly dry by morning too. It will be quite mild generally, with coastal gales easing, colder over northern Scotland.
Heavy and sometimes thundery showers will develop widely tomorrow morning, after a fine start for many, with the showers concentrated in the West. It will be mild for most, but it will remain very windy.
