A mixture of sunshine and showers today, showers most frequent across northern regions. Rain will move in across some western and northwestern areas, especially later, accompanied by brisk winds. Another mostly cool day.
A band of cloud and outbreaks of rain will eastwards tonight, this will be locally heavy over western hills. Remaining dry with clear spells for northern Scotland and southeast England.
Mostly dry and bright for northern Scotland. Elsewhere a cloudy, wet and blustery day. Rain will be heavy and persistent in places, especially over high ground in the west.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Remaining unsettled Sunday and Monday with further showers or longer spells of rain, that will be heavy at times. A drier day Tuesday, though still the odd heavy shower possible.
