Another day of sunny spells and scattered showers, with a few heavy showers developing in places, although some places remaining dry. Generally cloudier and windy with occasional rain for Shetland. Rather cool for most, though feeling warmer in the sunshine.
Tonight:
Many areas will become dry with clear spells overnight, especially in the south and across central Scotland. Elsewhere, in the far north and across the northwest it will remain showery.
Friday:
The mix of sunshine and showers continues on Friday, although rain may move in across some western and northwestern areas, especially later, accompanied by brisk winds. Another mostly cool day.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Generally cool and unsettled over the weekend and at first next week. Showers or longer spells of rain, with strong winds in places and a risk of thunderstorms on Monday.
