MAKKAH : Heavy Rain activity reported in Makkah, Muslim Holy Capital City Today. streets are flooded with rain water.

According to Saudi Gazette Reports The Municipality of Makkah has prepared its human cadres and equipment of various types and sizes, in order to deal with the rainy conditions that Makkah is witnessing.

The spokesperson of the municipality, Osama Al-Zaitouni, said that the municipality has prepared more than 730 trained individuals, as well as preparing over 108 equipment of various types, sizes and uses.

He said that municipality’s teams have started pulling pools of water, and removing fallen trees from some sites, following the rainy condition that Makkah witnessed on Friday.

Al-Zaitouni confirmed that there were no dangerous cases recorded on Friday.

He emphasized that all the teams and mechanisms are at the highest levels of readiness to be stationed in all locations during the coming days.

It will be used especially in the locations that are expected to witness a higher intensity in the amount of rain.
