Heavy rainfall has been recorded in the last 24 hours across Kasaragod district. As the monsoon winds are gaining strength, the India Meteorological Department has issued Orange Alert for the district for tomorrow as well. In these circumstances, as a precautionary measure District Collector Sri. Inbasekar K IAS declared holiday for all schools in the district.
Holiday is applicable for State, CBSE and ICSE Schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Anganwadis and Madrassas. Colleges shall function as usual.Heads of institutions shall take appropriate measures to compensate the study hours lost due to declaration of the holiday.
