A depression formed in the Arabian Sea made landfall between Panaji in Goa and Ratnagiri in Maharashtra last night. An extreme low pressure is now located at a distance of 40 km from Ratnagiri.

The low pressure formed in the Bay of Bengal last day is preparing to enter the Odisha coast as a well marked low pressure in the northwest Bay of Bengal. This low pressure is also expected to make landfall today.

Cyclonic circulation formed last day over Southwest Bay of Bengal continues parallel to Tamil Nadu.

With this, Metbeat Weather says that heavy rain will turn into intermittent rain in Kerala from tomorrow (Monday).

There will be less rain from tomorrow as compared to last days rain. But this does not mean sunny days without rain. Means less rainfall.

The monsoon has left many places

The south west monsoon has started leaving more areas in the north west states.

Monsoon has completely withdrawn from the states of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. Monsoon 2023 has withdrawn from parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan.

Monsoon is likely to leave these states completely in the next few days. The seasonal departure starts from Rajasthan and the last departure from Kerala.
