Most parts of the UAE will be hot today, the Meteorological Center said. The maximum temperature will touch 46 degrees Celsius by noon.
The highest temperature recorded in the country on Sunday afternoon was 44.1 degree Celsius in Dibba at 1.45 pm and Al Dhafra region at 3.15 pm.
The maximum temperature in the coastal areas of the country will be between 37 and 42 degrees Celsius, in the interior areas the temperature will be between 41 and 46 degrees Celsius and in the mountainous areas it will be between 26 and 31 degrees Celsius.
Light to moderate winds can be expected at times and the sea will be relatively calm along the UAE coastline. However, the sea may become slightly rough in the western direction at times in the Arabian Gulf
