Muscat – Heavy rains are expected over large parts of the sultanate for two days from Tuesday, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said.
The Ministry of Education issued a decision to suspend classes in all public and private schools in the governorates of Musandam, North Batinah, Buraimi and Dhahirah on Tuesday due to anticipated heavy rains.

The National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre of the Directorate General of Meteorology informed that the sultanate will be affected by a low pressure trough on Tuesday and Wednesday. ‘Rain, occasional thundershowers, fresh winds and flash floods in wadis are expected in Musandam, North Batinah, Buraimi and Dhahirah,’ CAA added.
