Another strong earthquake in Delhi; The epicenter is Ayodhya

Earthquake again in Delhi and National Capital Region. The earthquake was felt around 4.40 pm. The magnitude of the earthquake was 5.6 on the Richter scale. This is the second earthquake in North India in three days. An earthquake was felt in Nepal on Friday night.

Its vibe was felt in Delhi and other North Indian states. The epicenter of the earthquake was Ayodhya in UP. Images of people fleeing from residential areas are circulating on social media. Last Friday, a powerful 6.4 earthquake hit Nepal that killed at least 157 people. It was the Himalayan nation’s worst earthquake since 2015. Nepal lies in one of the world’s most active tectonic zones which makes it extremely vulnerable to earthquakes.
