ചെന്നൈ നഗരത്തിൽ ഇന്ന് പുലർച്ചെ അനുഭവപ്പെട്ട മൂടൽമഞ്ഞ് തുടരുമെന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര കാലാവസ്ഥ വകുപ്പ്. ചെന്നൈയിലും പരിസരപ്രദേശത്തും ആകാശം മേഘാവൃതമായി തുടരും. രണ്ട് മൂന്ന് ദിവസത്തേക്ക് നേരിയതോ മിതമായതോ ആയ മഴയ്ക്കും സാധ്യത.

അതേസമയം പ്രളയത്തിനുശേഷം നഗരത്തിൽ മാലിന്യം കുമിഞ്ഞു കൂടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 1,33,340 മെട്രിക് ടൺ മാലിന്യങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിച്ചതായി കോർപറേഷൻ അധികൃതർ അറിയിച്ചു.
