UAE Weather Updates 21/12/23: Partly cloudy today with heavy rain

According to the National Meteorological Center, the day will be mostly cloudy. Heavy rain was also expected across the country.

Rain is possible in some parts of the east and north and along the coast. Winds will be light to moderate, increasing at times.

Temperatures in the country can reach up to 29 °C. The mercury is expected to rise to 26 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi and 27 degrees Celsius in Dubai.

However, temperatures can reach 16°C in Abu Dhabi, 19°C in Dubai, and 7°C in mountainous areas.

Some indoor areas will be damp overnight into Friday morning. In Abu Dhabi, the proportion is between 45 and 85 per cent, and in Dubai between 40 and 70 per cent.

Sea conditions will be mild to moderate, with clouds in the Arabian Gulf and bright seas in Oman, which can be rough at times.
