kerala weather update 02/10/23: Rain will continue today with more chance in southern districts

Although both the depressions have cleared and weakened, rain will continue in Kerala today (02/10/23). The rain will be less strong than the previous days. The clouds formed in the Arabian Sea are on the shores of the breaks. But there is no chance of heavy continuous rain like the last few days.

Today there is a chance of rain in the districts from Thrissur to the south. There will be isolated rain over the eastern regions of Malappuram district and coastal Idanad areas of Kozhikode and Kannur districts.

In districts including Thiruvananthapuram, water has entered some houses due to rain. Waterlogging also worsened around Thampanoor railway station. Isolated heavy rains are likely in eastern region of Thiruvananthapuram district and eastern region of Kollam district today. Be careful in Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam districts.

There is a possibility of rough seas and high waves. Rainfall will be less in North Kerala than yesterday. Although the low pressure has recovered, the wind from Kerala is having a slight influence.
