കനത്ത മഴയെ തുടർന്നുണ്ടായ പ്രളയ സാഹചര്യം ത്രിപുരയിൽ രൂക്ഷമായി തുടരുന്നു.കനത്ത മഴയെ തുടർന്നുണ്ടായ പ്രളയത്തിൽ ഇതുവരെ 19 പേർ മരണപ്പെട്ടു. 450 ദുരിതാശ്വാസ ക്യാമ്പുകൾ വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിലായി തുറന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ത്രിപുരയിലെ താഴ്ന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങളെല്ലാം ഇപ്പോഴും വെള്ളക്കെട്ടിൽ ആണ്. മണ്ണിടിച്ചിലിൽ മാത്രം സ്ത്രീകളും കുട്ടികളും അടക്കം ഏഴ് മരണം റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. കനത്ത മഴയെ തുടർന്ന് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇന്നും അവധി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

അഗര്‍ത്തലയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള എല്ലാ ട്രെയിന്‍ സര്‍വീസുകളും മാറ്റി. അതേസമയം ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡിലെ രുദ്രപ്രയാകില്‍ ഉണ്ടായ മണ്ണിടിച്ചിലില്‍ നാലു മരണം. മരിച്ചത് നേപ്പാള്‍ സ്വദേശികളാണ്. മണ്ണിടിച്ചില്‍ ഉണ്ടായത് ഇന്ന് പുലര്‍ച്ചയോടെയാണ്.
