ജാഗ്രത; മുല്ലപ്പെരിയാർ ഡാം നാളെ തുറക്കും

ശക്തമായ മഴ മൂലം നീരൊഴുക്ക് വർദ്ധിച്ചതിനാൽ മുല്ലപ്പെരിയാർ ഡാമിന്റെ ഷട്ടറുകൾ നാളെ തുറക്കും. വൃഷ്ടി പ്രദേശത്ത് അതിശക്തമായ മഴയാണ് ലഭിച്ചത്.ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച രാവിലെ പത്തുമുതല്‍ ഷട്ടറുകള്‍ ഘട്ടം ഘട്ടമായി തുറന്ന് 10,000 ക്യൂസെക്‌സ് വരെ ജലം പുറത്തേക്കൊഴുക്കുമെന്നാണ് അറിയിപ്പ്‌.

തിങ്കളാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 11 മണിയോടെ ഡാമിലെ ജലനിരപ്പ് 137.50 അടിയില്‍ എത്തി. നീരൊഴുക്ക് നിലവില്‍ 12,000 ക്യൂസെക്‌സ് ആണെന്നും തമിഴ്‌നാട് കേരളത്തെ അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഡാം തുറക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലാ കളക്ടർ ജാഗ്രത നിർദ്ദേശം പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
