വടക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ദിശയിൽ നിന്ന് മിതമായ കാറ്റ് (northwesterly winds) വീശാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. മണിക്കൂറിൽ 15 മുതൽ 30 കിലോമീറ്റർ വരെ വേഗതയിലുള്ള കാറ്റ് ചില സമയങ്ങളിൽ ശക്തമാകുകയും പൊടിയും മണലും (blowing dust & sand) ഉയർത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.
