ജനുവരി പകുതിയോടെ തന്നെ കേരളത്തിലെ പല ജില്ലകളിലും താപനില 35 ഡിഗ്രി സെൽഷ്യസ് കടന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഫെബ്രുവരി, മാർച്ച് മാസങ്ങളിൽ ഇത് 40 ഡിഗ്രി സെൽഷ്യസ് വരെ ഉയരാൻ സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് കാലാവസ്ഥാ നിരീക്ഷണ കേന്ദ്രം മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നൽകി.
