അഞ്ചുവർഷം മുമ്പ് കോഴിക്കോട് കുന്ദമംഗലത്തിനടുത്തുള്ള ചെരിഞ്ചാലിൽ ആണ് പാഞ്ചിയോ ബുജിയ എന്ന ശാസ്ത്രനാമമുള്ള ഈ മത്സ്യത്തെ ആദ്യമായി കണ്ടെത്തിയത്.മറ്റു മത്സ്യങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമാണ് ഈ മത്സ്യം.
