ഒരുകാലത്ത് നിയന്ത്രണവിധേയമായിരുന്ന മലമ്പനി (Malaria) വീണ്ടും സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് വ്യാപിക്കുന്നതും ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പിനെ ആശങ്കയിലാഴ്ത്തുകയാണ്. അഞ്ചുവർഷം മുമ്പ് റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്ത കേസുകളുടെ ഇരട്ടിയോളം രോഗബാധ ഈ വർഷം പകുതിയാകുമ്പോഴേക്കും കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
