കാലാവസ്ഥാ വകുപ്പിന്റെ കണക്കുകൾ പ്രകാരം ജൂൺ 4 മുതൽ 26 വരെ രാജ്യത്ത് ശരാശരി 45 ശതമാനത്തോളം മഴക്കുറവാണ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. മധ്യ, പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ, വടക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ശക്തമായ മഴമേഘങ്ങളുടെ സാന്നിധ്യം ഇപ്പോഴും രൂപപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല.
