പശ്ചിമബംഗാളിലെ നോർത്ത് 24 പർഗാന ജില്ലയിലാണ് നിപ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തത്. ഈ കേസുകൾ രണ്ട് ജില്ലകളിൽ മാത്രം ഒതുങ്ങി നിൽക്കുന്നതാണ്. ഇവർ വ്യാപകമായി യാത്ര ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല എന്നത് കൊണ്ട് തന്നെ രോഗം വൻതോതിൽ പടരാനുള്ള സാധ്യതകൾ വിരളമാണെന്ന് ലോകാരോഗ്യ സംഘടന പറഞ്ഞു.
