മണിക്കൂറുകൾ നീണ്ട തെരച്ചിലിനൊടുവിൽ രാത്രി 12 മണിയോടെ ഷാഹിന്റെ മൃതദേഹം പുഴയിൽ നിന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തി. തുടർന്ന് മൃതദേഹം തുടർ നടപടികൾക്കായി മഞ്ചേരി മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.
