Low pressure area over Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal, rain forecast for next three days including Kerala

A low pressure area over Indian Ocean and southwest Bay of Bengal is likely.
Along with this, there is a possibility of cyclonic circulation up to 5.8 km.
It is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify further during the next 24 hours.
Western Disturbance is likely. Cyclonic circulation continues over central Pakistan and Punjab at a height of 3.1 to 5.8 km.
Another cyclonic circulation is also present over Punjab at a height of 1.5 km. Another strong Western Disturbance is also present over southeast Pakistan at a height of 7.6 km. Meanwhile, a trough (trough) is present from the northeast Arabian Sea to northwest Madhya Pradesh via Gujarat and southeast Rajasthan. Near Kerala coast, cyclonic circulation continues in the southeast Arabian Sea, especially near the south Kerala coast up to a height of 0.9 km. Subtropical Westerly Jet Stream
A strong jet stream is continuing at a height of 12.6 km and a speed of 115 knots over northeast India.

• Scattered rain is likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Mahi, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry.

• Isolated rain is also likely over central India, Lakshadweep and Nicobar Islands

Some parts of Kerala and nearby states are likely to receive occasional rain in the next few days. This is mainly due to the low pressure and other air movements. Meanwhile, Wayanad received heavy rains the other day. The rains reached the Muttil areas of Wayanad around 5.30 pm yesterday.
