ഉയർന്ന താപനില, കൂടിയ ഈർപ്പം, കൂടാതെ ഉയർന്ന അൾട്രാവയലറ്റ് (UV) സൂചിക എന്നിവയെ തുടർന്ന് സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ചൂട് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചത് Kerala State Disaster Management Authority ആണ്. ചില പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ഓറഞ്ച് അലർട്ട് പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
