ജൂൺ 4 മുതൽ ജൂൺ 15 വരെയുള്ള കാലയളവിൽ രാജ്യത്ത് ശരാശരി ലഭിക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന 53.7 മില്ലീമീറ്റർ മഴയ്ക്ക് പകരം ലഭിച്ചത് വെറും 19.2 മില്ലീമീറ്റർ മഴ മാത്രമാണ്. ഇതോടെ രാജ്യത്തുടനീളം മഴയിൽ 64 ശതമാനത്തിന്റെ കുറവാണ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
