കേരളത്തിന് പുറമെ കന്യാകുമാരി തീരത്തും ഇന്ന് (ജൂൺ 12) രാത്രി 11.30 വരെ 1.3 മുതൽ 1.4 മീറ്റർ വരെ ഉയരമുള്ള തിരമാലകൾക്ക് സാധ്യതയുണ്ടെന്ന് INCOIS അറിയിച്ചു. കടൽ ജലനിരപ്പ് ഉയരുന്നതിനാൽ താഴ്ന്ന തീരപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ വെള്ളം കയറാനും കടൽക്ഷോഭം വർധിക്കാനും സാധ്യത.
