ശ്രീലങ്കയിൽ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിനെ തുടർന്ന് മരണസംഖ്യ ഇന്ന് രാവിലെയുള്ള കണക്ക് പ്രകാരം 159 ആയി. 191 പേരെ കാണാതായി. അഞ്ചു ലക്ഷം പേരെ പ്രളയം ബാധിച്ചു. ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിനെ തുടര്ന്ന് രാജ്യത്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് അനുര കുമാര ദിസാനായകേ അടിയന്തരാവസ്ഥ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.
